Robert

Growing up on a dairy farm in South Africa gave me a deep appreciation for rural, farm and ranch life and an enormous passion for agriculture and the cattle industry. My true calling is to work with cows.

I started Agri-Trim so I could continue working outdoors and help farmers and ranchers keep their herds healthy. For dairy farms, I believe in twice-a-year scheduled, preventative cattle hoof trimming that keeps cows happy, healthy, comfortable, and performing at their very best. For beef cattle and bulls, we trim as needed (long toes, corkscrew, and lame).

It only makes sense to take care of good cattle we value and our goal is longevity. The most profitable farms and ranches have healthy cattle with healthy hooves.

Cattle Hoof Trimming Experience

My cattle hoof trimming experience comes from graduating from two of the top hoof trimming courses in the industry (Dairyland Hoof Care Institute in Baraboo, Wisconsin and the IPC Dairy Training Center [previously known as PTC+] based out of the Netherlands) and from the privilege of working with some of the best cattle hoof trimmers in the business.

I believe in good farm hygiene and clean and sanitize my equipment after each client. I also participate in continuing education to keep my skills sharp, challenge myself, and ensure I offer my clients nothing but the best. I refuse to offer anything but the best quality work – my mission is to treat your cows like they are my own!
